Terms of Service
Effective Date: December 9, 2025Chapter 1. General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its Members regarding the use of the Service provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service: Refers to all services provided by the Company for creating, managing, and sharing online resumes (CVs) and portfolios.
- Member: A person who agrees to these Terms, registers for an account, and uses the Service.
- Paid Service: Optional premium features available upon payment (e.g., specific subscriptions).
Chapter 2. Service Usage & Obligations
Article 3 (Member's Obligations)
Members must not engage in the following acts. Violation may result in account suspension:
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights or personal information of others.
- Uploading illegal, obscene, or defamatory content.
- Distributing malware or attempting to hack the Service.
- Impersonating company staff or administrators.
Article 4 (Content Responsibility)
The Company is not responsible for any damage arising from the Member's decision to publicly share their CV link (Short Code) with third parties. Members are responsible for managing the privacy of their own data.
Chapter 3. Payments & Refund Policy
Article 5 (Refund and Cancellation)
Members may request a full refund within 7 days of the first payment, provided the Word (RTF) download feature has not been used. Auto-renewal payments are not refundable. Members may cancel auto-renewal at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

Chapter 4. Termination
Article 6 (Termination & Data Retention)
Upon termination of the agreement (withdrawal), the Company may delete the Member's data after a 30-day grace period to prevent accidental loss. After this period, restoration is not possible.
Chapter 5. User Content & Disclaimer
Article 7 (Accuracy of User Content)
The member is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and timeliness of all career information they enter. The Company does not verify or guarantee the authenticity of member-submitted content and bears no obligation to do so. The Company is not liable for any damage caused to the member or a third party by false or inaccurate information.
Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)
The Company is not obligated to intervene in disputes arising between members or between a member and a third party through the service, and is not liable for resulting damages. The Company bears no compensation liability under these Terms for damages arising from the reliability or accuracy of information posted by members. The Company is exempt from liability for service interruption or damage caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure or member fault.
Article 9 (Temporary Measures and Internal Review)
If a member violates these Terms, or a posting infringing the rights of others is reported, staff may temporarily block the posting without prior notice. Final measures such as suspending disclosure, blocking, or account suspension are decided through the Company's internal review process (self-review committee).
Privacy Policy

1. Items Collected & Purpose
We collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary to provide services. The following data is collected upon consent:

2. Data Retention & Destruction
Once the purpose of collection is achieved, the information is destroyed without delay. However, certain information may be retained for a specific period if required by relevant laws (e.g., E-Commerce Act).

We use a third-party payment processor (Merchant of Record) to handle payments securely. Your payment information is processed in accordance with the payment processor's privacy policy and terms. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers.
5. AI Features & Cross-Border Transfer
The Company provides AI features to organize and classify the career information members enter. AI is used only to structure and categorize the input; the Company does not use AI to generate fictitious history. Members are responsible for the final review and use of AI-assisted results.
To provide AI features, part of the member input is transferred to an overseas AI service provider. Pursuant to Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the cross-border transfer details are disclosed below.

Refund Policy

1. Eligibility
A refund is available when all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund is requested within 7 days of the original payment date.
- The Word (RTF) download feature has not been used.
- The payment is the first subscription purchase (auto-renewal payments are excluded).
2. How to Request
Send an email to help@ogsusu.com with your payment date and the email address registered to your ChocoV account.
3. Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval. Settlement to your card may take additional time depending on your card issuer.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
- More than 7 days have passed since the payment date.
- The Word (RTF) download feature has been used at least once.
- The payment is from an automatic renewal.
- The account is suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service.
5. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
ChocoV subscriptions renew automatically each year on the original payment date.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Subscription tab in your dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the currently paid period continues until its expiry.
Once an auto-renewal payment has been processed, it is final and not refundable.
6. Legal Basis
This policy is consistent with the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Article 17 (right of withdrawal for digital content before use). "Use" is defined as the first download of a Word (RTF) file.
